Uploading your avatar
To upload an avatar: open Editor → Design → Avatar, upload a square image at least 400×400 px, with a max size depending on your plan (2 MB free, up to 20 MB on Pro). Choose from three shapes: circle, rounded, or square, plus an optional badge (verified/pro/custom) on top.
Your avatar is the loudest visual
Visitors decide in the first two seconds whether to engage or leave, and the avatar is the first thing they see. Spend a few extra minutes here before publishing.
How to upload
- Open Editor → Design → Avatar.
- Click "Upload image" or drag the file into the dropzone.
- There is no in-editor cropping yet — the image uploads as-is, so prepare it as a 1:1 square beforehand.
- Click Save then Publish to push it live.
Recommended specs
- Size: at least 400×400 px, up to 1000×1000 for Retina screens.
- Format: JPG for photos, PNG for logos with transparency, WebP for the smallest file size.
- Max file size: depends on your plan, 2 MB on the free plan, 5 MB on Plus, and 20 MB on Pro and above.
- Lighting: clear, natural light; your face fills about 70% of the frame.
Image type by business
- Individuals and influencers: professional headshot, simple background, direct eye contact.
- Businesses: official logo at high resolution with a transparent background (PNG).
- Restaurants and cafés: your hero dish or storefront, well-lit and vibrant.
Avatar shape
From the template settings you can render the avatar in one of three shapes: circular (most common for individuals), rounded, or square. You can also add a small badge over the avatar (verified, pro, or custom) as a separate feature from the shape itself.
Updating later
You can swap the avatar at any time without affecting page analytics or link history.
