Capturing visitor emails
To capture visitor emails: open Editor → Blocks → Newsletter signup, write an inviting title, and ask for email only. It saves to your account Subscribers page and you can export it as CSV. Important note: the mandatory PDPL consent checkbox is enabled on Zayenha Bio own site-wide newsletter only -- if you send your own marketing emails, you are responsible for documenting your subscribers consent.
Why collect emails?
Social platforms shift every few years, an email list is yours. Building a list of your customers opens a direct channel that bypasses Instagram and TikTok algorithms.
How to add an email form
- Open Editor → Blocks → Newsletter signup.
- Set a form title that pulls the visitor in (e.g. "10% off your first order").
- Choose where it appears on your page.
What to ask for
Start with email only. Every extra field cuts signup rate.
What happens after submission
- The email is saved to the Subscribers page of your account.
- The visitor sees a fixed thank-you message ("Thanks for subscribing!") — not customizable yet.
- You get a notification on your dashboard.
Honestly: PDPL compliance is your responsibility, not automatic platform coverage
In Saudi Arabia, the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) requires explicit consent before sending marketing email. The mandatory consent checkbox is currently enabled only on Zayenha Bio's own site-wide newsletter form (signup on the main site), not automatically on your own page's capture block — so if you plan to send your own marketing emails to your subscribers, you are responsible for obtaining and documenting their consent yourself, not the platform on your behalf.
Exporting the list
From the Subscribers page you can download the list as CSV and import it into any mass-mail service you prefer, where you add a real unsubscribe link yourself when sending.
Tips to lift signup rate
- Lead with a clear incentive: discount, free guide, sample.
- Make the button large in a color that contrasts with the page.
- Place the form correctly: pages are skimmed fast, do not bury it at the bottom.
Frequently asked questions
Does my own page email capture form add a PDPL consent checkbox automatically?
No. The mandatory consent checkbox is currently enabled on Zayenha Bio own site-wide newsletter only, not on your own page form. You are responsible for documenting your subscribers consent if you send your own marketing emails.
Where are the emails I collect saved?
On the Subscribers page of your account, from where you can export them as CSV.
How many fields should I ask for in the email form?
Email only, to start. Every extra field (name, phone) lowers your signup rate.
